German summer campus in Vienna
This prestigious private school, founded by Empress Maria Theresia, provides optimum learning and recreation facilities required for the German teenager programme. The school is located in central Vienna, with many famous sights in walking distance or within easy reach by public transport.
The school is spaciously laid out. In the middle of the campus a large park facilitates leisure and sports with a football pitch, sports and beach volleyball grounds and tennis courts, available for use after lessons.
You are accommodated on campus in modern rooms together with students of the same age from different countries. You study in small, international groups and enjoy full-board catering in the school cafeteria. Our teachers put together an exciting leisure programme on the school premises and show you the very best of Vienna.

The standard course focuses on grammar work and the development of oral and written skills through entertaining and motivational learning activities. Our dynamic teaching approach based on an active learning process stimulates young students, encourages their interest in language and improves their knowledge of German culture

Accommodation
On-campus residence
Standard Room
The summer campus not only comprises classrooms, common rooms and a restaurant but also an extensive accommodation wing. With boys and girls separated, students are accommodated in spacious, friendly and comfortable 4 - 6 bed rooms (communal shower and toilet on each floor) directly on the school grounds.
Superior Room
Available directly on the summer campus, there are rooms which offer higher standards of accommodation. This wing is newly renovated, friendly and well furnished. All Superior rooms are shared by 3 - 4 students and have their own shower. Toilet on each floor.
Meals
All students are accommodated full-board. International dishes (and also Austrian specialities) are served at mealtimes.There are three meals per day at the school refectory:
Breakfast: buffet with ham, cheese, jam, bread, tea, coffee or cocoa.
Lunch: 3 courses with starter, warm main dish and dessert.
Dinner: nearly always warm (sometimes cold after excursions), sometimes barbecue evenings.
All meals are self-service and you are welcome to go back for an extra serving. If you require vegetarian or Halaal food, please indicate this when booking.

Transfers are available from Vienna airport or station.

- Sporting Activities
There are a number of sporting activities available: volleyball, football, swimming, table-tennis, "Olympic Games", visits to outdoor swimming pools and the Danube Island. - Creative activities
You can do craft work, make music or go to waltzing lessons,or join a theatre group or newspaper workshop. - Other activities
Staff organise excursions, films, shows, treasure hunts, barbecues, disco evenings, city walks, karaoke, welcome and farewell parties.

At the summer campus school our staff are available round the clock! Independent outings from the premises require written permission by the student's parents.
Curfew
Students are not allowed to leave the campus unaccompanied unless the school has a permission form from parents signed and stating one of the following curfew times for their child:
- in the afternoon until 06:00 pm
- in the evening until 09:00 pm
- in the evening until 10:00 pm (over 15 years)
